All the questions in this section have been asked either by potential clients or by visitors to our nursery. We’ve done our best to provide clear answers to the most frequently asked questions. We seek to provide a quality work place where employees can grow and reach their potential both professionally and personally. We like what we do, and that makes a difference in our finished product.

Our goal is to provide the best products and services available at a reasonable price. We offer continuous in house training and also attend educational seminars and workshops. We constantly strive to improve our knowledge therefore providing our clients with the best possible product.
Where do you service?
We service most areas of South Jersey, typically within 30 minutes from our shop. Our service area includes Atlantic, Burlington and Cape May Counties. It includes the shore communities from Brigantine, Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, Longport, Ocean City and south to Stone Harbor. Our service areas also include, but are not limited to the mainland communities of Northfield, Linwood, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway Township, Somers Point, Absecon and Mays Landing. We have completed landscape projects as far away as Villanova, PA.
What services do you provide?
We are a full service landscape installation and maintenance company. Our services include full landscape design and installation of shrubs, trees, perennials and annuals. We also design and install water features, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, pergolas, arbors, fencing, decks, walls, walkways, patios, driveways, sod, irrigation and lighting. We maintain residential and commercial properties including mowing, mulching, shearing, fertilization, pest control and weeding. Snow removal as well as the installation and storage of holiday lighting are also services we provide.
When will my service start?
Weekly Maintenance Service
Your service agreement starts on the date you sign your contact. Maintenance contracts renew automatically. Maintenance services could start as early as the next day.
Your landscape project is scheduled when you sign your contract. Start dates fluctuate because of several factors. These factors include weather and materials availability. For example, we may have to order specific shrubs, trees or hard goods for your project. Another factor that affects the start date is crew availability. Your landscape architect/designer will review scheduling with you. And he will keep you up to date with any changes that may occur.
How long will my service take?
Most landscape maintenance visits happen fast and within minutes as not to disturb you or your peace of mind. Complete landscape installation can take a few hours up to a few weeks. Your architect/designer will discuss the time frame with you.
Can I have my lawn cut on Friday?
Friday lawn cuts are a very popular request. Therefore, it’s unlikely that Fridays can be accommodated on a regular basis. However, we do take requests for special events such as graduation, weddings, parties, etc. Keep in mind, when having your lawn and landscape maintained by Bayview, your yard always looks professionally manicured from one visit to the next.

Yes. We have licenses to legally perform services in New Jersey and the local communities we serve.

Not only are we licensed and certified, but we have won many home show awards and have been voted Best of the Press Landscaping.
Do we have professional/commercial equipment?
Yes. Bayview Garden Nurseries has top-quality, high-end lawn and landscape power equipment. We continue to upgrade as innovations are made. We strive to provide the most efficient way to cut lawns beautifully. Improved fuel efficiency, lighter weight equipment and quieter equipment are some of the improvements we seek.
Are there alternatives to gas powered equipment?
Yes, there are. We have one truck that uses battery operated equipment. The equipment is recharged using solar panels mounted on top of the truck. Click here for more information.
How do I pay?
Bayview accepts cash, checks and credit cards for those customers with annual contracts. Garden Center customers can pay for their purchases with cash or credit cards. Click here for more information regarding landscape and lawn maintenance terms.
Can I have my job done in phases?
Absolutely. When you meet with your designer he/she can provide you with the best options to complete your project in phases.
